Take a practice theory test

You must have a provisional driving licence to book your theory test. There are 2 parts to the test: multiple-choice questions. hazard perception – a video test about spotting hazards on the road.

What do you need to take with you to your theory test?
You need to take both parts of your driving licence (the photocard and the paper counterpart) to the test. If you have an old-style paper licence, you must take yoursigned driving licence and a valid passport. No other form of photographic identification will be accepted.
How much is the driving theory test?
The cost of car and motorcycle theory tests will drop from £31 to £25 in October 2014, and then to £23 in October 2015. The cost of the driving theory test will be cut by 25%, saving learner drivers in excess of £100 million over the next 9 years, Transport Minister Stephen Hammond announced on 23 June 2014.
How long is the driving theory test?
You’ll have a maximum of 57 minutes to complete the test. An on-screen clock is displayed so that you’ll always know how much time you have left. All the questions are multiple-choice and they vary between straight text, text with graphics of road signs and text with photographs of road and driving scenarios.
How much is the practical driving test 2015?
Driving test costs. A car theory test costs £23 and the car practical test normally costs £62 – the full rates for different vehicles are shown in the tables. These are the prices to book your test using the official service. Unofficial websites may charge more.

I love teaching people to drive, I have always had a passion for learning myself and I won an award in 2010 for outstanding learning in my studies on Childcare and I was invited to meet the Queen.

When not working I like to spend quality time with my friends and family.
My hobbies are reading and watching TV.
